Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

SUMMARY

Responsible for managing technology projects that support Bank departments. Work with third party vendors or in-house technology in planning, managing, executing and implementing projects. Work with Bank departments to solve business needs while delivering solutions that improve efficiencies, automate activities, expand data reporting and/or upgrade third party application releases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports using established Bank PMO documentation. Identify the tasks and reponsibilities of the project team(s) and provides technical and administrative project direction.
  • Works with third party vendors on release upgrades and acts as a liason with the Bank's IT department.
  • Assists with analysis and documentation, recommends various technical solutions to meet requirements, and provides technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
  • May assist in developing test plans, test conditions and scripts. Tracks all test issues and assist with triage, escalation and resolution.
  • Holds project meetings to ensure projects meet deadlines and specifications. Prepares project tracking, reports, and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Identifies, mitigates, and reports project risks and issues. Negotiates and implements resolutions that threaten cost, schedule, or scope.
  • Assists in managing the integrations of vendor tasks and contractual commitments, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Assists in developing business proposals to meet client needs. Examples could include RFI, RFP, RFQ. Evaluates and recommends various technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Maintains good knowledge on current and emerging technologies. Interprets their applicability to short and long-term Bank needs as appropriate.
  • Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  • Provides and promotes the Citizens Experience customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university, in a field of business management; or eight (8) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Emphasis in IT is a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnishes in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a solid understanding of the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Outlook, Project, Access, and Word.

Experience with Visio, Sharepoint, and Fiserv Applications are a plus.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

PMP Certification is a plus.

  • Excellent working knowledge of various Project Life Cycle Methodologies or similar processes
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented
  • Excellent knowledge of financial /business systems
  • Ability to manage multiple support organizations and multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must be fully conversant on issues and current trends as the relate to the banking industry's products and services.
  • Coordinate meetings for all members of the project team and applicable vendors.
  • Comfortably work with application vendors on projects
  • Team building and effective communications with Bank Senior Management
  • Must be able to work independently and under deadlines.
