Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. In this dynamic role, you will remain highly visible, conduct routine patrols, and interact with individuals while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned government location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior within the premises.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
