FLEET OPERATIONS DIRECTOR - POWER MAINTENANCE & CONSTRUCTION
Note: Candidate will need to be able to work remotely from home, with travel to sites and offices as required. Prefer candidate to reside within the Southeast Region of the US, to best accommodate Client site locations in that Region for this role. Position Summary: Develops and executes strategy to meet/exceed safety, financial, operational, and customer goals for nuclear customers of D&Z. Drives D&Z culture and values, accountability, use of defined processes and procedures, consistency in execution and Continuous Improvement Program across the Business Line. Supports business development activities, long-range business line planning and resource management. Analyzes the competitive environment and functions as the Business Line representative for developing and maintaining operations processes and procedures supporting the "D&Z Way." Responsible, along with the Operations VP, for the Business Line P&L. Principal Accountabilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business field preferred 15+ years' experience of relevant operations and power industry experience, or proven success in role of D&Z Sr. Director of Operations required PMP (Project Management) Certification preferred OSHA 30 Certification preferred Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, other business software Ability to regularly perform all job functions remotely, as well as at Company's office or work site as required Ability to successfully complete all required screening (drug/alcohol, background, psychological) and training required for badging/access at any required D&Z or client facility Physical / Mental Tasks: Visual acuity (e.g., needed to prepare and analyze data, to transcribe documents, to view a computer, to read, to inspect objects, to operate machinery Balancing (e.g., maintaining equilibrium when walking, climbing, crouching etc.) Manual Dexterity (e.g., picking, pinching, typing, or other working that uses the fingers) Grasping (e.g., use of hand to apply pressure) Reaching (e.g., reaching the arms or legs in any direction) Feeling (e.g., perceiving an object's size, shape, texture etc.) Climbing (e.g., ascending/descending ladders, stair, scaffolding, ramps, pole etc. using feet and legs or hands/arms to climb) Walking Hearing Talking Repetitive motions of any part of the body Capacity to think, concentrate and focus over long periods of time Ability to write complex documents in the [English] language Ability to read complex documents in [English] language Capacity to express thoughts orally (e.g., accurately, quick and loudly convey spoken instructions to workers) Capacity to reason and make sound decisions Other - Create business reports and perform business analytics to present to internal and external customers In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $178,000 - $281,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
