Position Title: Plastics Injection Operator Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 3rd We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our production team in Victor, IA as a Plastics - Injection Operator on 3rd shift. In this hands-on role, you will operate plastic injection molding machines, inspect and trim parts, and package finished products according to customer specifications. Plastics Injection Operator Responsibilities: - Operate plastic injection molding presses safely and efficiently - Inspect plastic parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met - Trim excess plastic using utility knives or hand tools - Assemble small plastic components (such as lids) when needed - Package products in boxes per customer requirements - Accurately label finished boxes for shipping - Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area - Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Requirements for Plastics Injection Operator: - Able to stand for duration of shift - Able to lift up to 5 lbs frequently (up to 10 times/hour) and up to 40 lbs occasionally (up to 2 times/hour) - Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (temperatures may reach 100F in summer) - Able to perform repetitive tasks including bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and hand-eye coordination to work with small parts - Able to maintain a steady, fast-paced work rhythm throughout shift marshalltown@qpsemployment.com IND097 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
