We continue to grow and are adding an Electrical Controls Engineer to lead our continued growth with engineered-to-order control cabinets.

What You Will Do



  • Partner with Application Engineering to define control cabinet opportunities and costs.
  • Review customer control system designs and lead design improvement discussions with customers.
  • Assist the sales team by engaging the customer in technical discussions to support new opportunities.
  • Create drawings and parts lists for customer orders.
  • Use SolidWorks Electrical to generate drawings of the control cabinet, layout drawings, control cabinet. schematics, wire lists, terminal block layouts, and parts lists for customer orders.
  • Work closely with key departments such as manufacturing and development engineering, confirming products meet/exceed customer expectations.
  • Partner with Production to identify tooling needs and design a work cell for control cabinets.
  • Choose materials and calculate/analyze costs.


Qualifications & Traits to be Successful in this Role



  • Electrical Engineering degree with an emphasis on Control Systems, or equivalent.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with experience providing technical support to customers.
  • AutoCAD Electrical proficiency with the ability to create a design package.
  • Understanding of electrical schematic drawings.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Self-initiative and willingness to continuously learn.
  • Passion for creating solutions that meet/exceed customer expectations.
