The Digital Experience team is transforming how people purchase and interact with automotive and energy products and services. Our team comprises product engineers, business analysts, UX designers, and full-stack software engineers working together to create seamless solutions to complex problems. We run lean, move quickly, and pride ourselves on accelerating Tesla from start-up to scaled enterprise without losing our scrappy spirit. We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Energy Order Experience team. In this role you'll build products and features to help our customers order residential and commercial energy products including solar panels, Solar Roof, Powerwall, and Megapack.
What You'll Do
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Develop a product roadmap, write user stories, prioritize, and drive execution of software development cycles in a highly agile environment and continually shifting priorities
- Deeply understand users and to identify opportunities to improve their experience
- Define, monitor and analyze key metrics to evaluate performance and change course as needed
- Communicate impact of team's efforts with business teams in order to build consensus and drive outcomes
- Work with engineering teams to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs but considers future growth scenarios
- Analyze product performance through logs and other data sources to assist in troubleshooting and enhancing our products
- Manage and communicate dependencies with other teams
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of working experience working with software development teams
- Knowledge of product principles, scrum, and agile methodology
- Experience having shipped technical customer-facing products that delivered business impact
- Proven history of converting learnings from customer insights into tangible product features that customers love
- Strong analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial instincts with a clear bias for informed action and a track record of leading new initiatives with limited resources and support
- Ability to successfully work cross functionality with teams, including engineering, UX, legal, finance, sales, and operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical teams

Expected Compensation
$128,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
