Advantage Technical is hiring a Product Testing Technician in Arden Hills, MN.

This role involves mechanical testing such as pull, flex, torque, and extension/retraction tests, along with some high voltage/current testing. Testing is mostly semi-automated and requires careful setup and strict adherence to protocols. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting is rare.

You'll be performing R&D testing on medical products like leads and catheters, including x-ray analysis, tensile, fatigue, and electrical tests. Assignments will vary based on your skills and adaptability. While some tasks may be repetitive for short periods, variety and versatility are key.

Quality Systems Responsibilities:

Ensure all work complies with quality standards and maintain documentation accordingly.

Qualifications:



  • AA degree or equivalent experience in related fields (assembler, operator, test technician) with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Experience with test equipment (tensile testers, microscopes, electrical measurement systems) preferred but not required - training available
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and file management
  • Recent 4-year degree holders (e.g., mechanical/electrical engineers) are not eligible

  • Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
