Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, Contract Compliance is responsible for monitoring and understanding commercial contracting strategies in the Medical Surgical and Devices market(s). The analyst is responsible for ensuring adherence to contractual commitments across GPOs, IDNs, and key customer agreements within the Fresenius Kabi IV Therapy portfolio. This role ensures compliance with customer contracts, optimizes contract performance, and collaborates with cross functional teams to drive business success. The primary responsibilities for this role include collaborating with field sales teams to drive business growth and ensure successful outcomes aligning with Fresenius Kabi's commercial strategies.
This role plays a critical part in monitoring, measuring, and reporting on customer obligations, including tiered pricing compliance, volume thresholds, and rebate eligibility. The analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Contract Operations, and Master Data teams to ensure contract performance aligns with business objectives and regulatory standards.
Additionally, this role will support departmental strategies and decisions regarding daily business functions and ad-hoc projects. This position is heavily reliant on interacting with multiple Fresenius Kabi US business functions. The individual must be able to successfully facilitate and complete projects in a matrix environment and support business decisions.
This is a hybrid position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite in the Lake Zurich, Illinois office 3 days a week.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities
- Track and validate customer performance against contractual commitments, including tiered volume commitments, rebates and agreed upon contractual terms.
- Oversee the administration and fulfillment of contractual obligations and commitments.
- Extract, analyze and interpret data from CRM systems to identify compliance gaps and trends. Prepare monthly dashboards and ad hoc reports for leadership.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to contract performance.
- Support customer obligation inquiries and disputes related to contractual obligations.
- Support commercial teams in structuring contracts that drive long-term customer relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of customer commitments, amendments, and compliance reports.
- Work with legal and compliance teams to assess risks and implement corrective actions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on contract performance.
- Prepare documentation to support Review Committee requirements.
- This individual will interface regularly with Marketing, Pricing, Legal, Finance, and other functional areas to ensure that key information is incorporated in the decision-making process.
- Directly interface with customers on contract obligation reporting and measurement.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and develop tools to assist in the project deliverables.
- Lead project to organize project to report and socialize business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to the preparation of ad-hoc presentations, assess the impact of the analysis, and make appropriate recommendations to Senior Management
- This role does not have any direct reports but will need to work in a matrix management environment to manage project deadlines and provide frequent updates to key stakeholders on deliverables.
- Completes all training requirements, including all department-specific, compliance training, etc.
- Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required (Advanced degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare or related industry (Med Tech, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical preferred).
- Strong knowledge of infusion therapy, medical device, and healthcare contracting preferred.
- Experience in pricing strategies and value-based contracting.
- Knowledge of antikickback laws.
- Highly self-driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively in dynamic conditions.
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects with demonstrated time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Strong team player that is solution-oriented and can build influential relationships with both internal department and external customers.
- Experience presenting with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Intermediate to advance skillset with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CLM and CRM tools (SalesForce.com).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
