Sundry Data and Pricing Lead

The Sundry Data and Pricing Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to, building knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers to solve a range of straightforward problems, analyze possible solutions, and provide accurate and timely data and guidance to the sales teams.

Sundry cost administration, infrastructure development/support (reporting and processes), pricing analytics, and general support. This includes supporting all functions of the costing and associated systems (e.g., MDS, SAP, APEX): current and future functionality, testing and training. The incumbent will also be responsible for initiating continuous improvement efforts, providing efficiency and controls for the operations of the sundry department, and assisting the entire team with reaching the financial goals each year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all price lists received from vendors
• Work with vendors to ensure all PPC skus are connected to a vendor sku
• Update sku pricing based off vendor costs
• Update pricing in two systems (SAP and MDS) across all countries and plants
• Answer field questions about prices and margin variances
• Analyze cost changes from vendors and communicate the annualized impact to the team so that Retails can be reviewed
• Maintain Cost tracker which is log of all vendor changes and the impact of the change
• Maintain the SAP Invoice Price Holds and release for payment to AP (DT)
• Upload MDS store cost changes daily (DT)

Data Administration

• Update unit of measure, description, and other Material master changes as needed through an MDM to the DMO
• Respond to the DMO on all MDM and DSP submissions for MDS Store cost changes
• Work daily with the SSO team on all PO Price discrepancies
• Work with SSO daily on all non-cost discrepancies such as vendor email changes, rounding profile changes, etc.
• Create new vendors

Qualifications:

• The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a business-related field and 4+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrate comfort with making decisions in a fast-paced environment with insufficient information
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and an ability to aggregate, manipulate and interpret disparate sources of data
• Proficient in use of data reporting tools - e.g. Power BI, SAP
• Customer focused individuals who believe in ensuring promises are delivered upon and can foster a climate of trust and cooperation with colleagues and customers
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Strong attention to detail
