As a Security Professional - Chemical Patrol TWIC in Port Arthur, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As an Allied Universal Security Professional in an access control role at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents or drills, following location-specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and follow all required protocols relevant to chemical and petrochemical environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
