Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time in Disputanta, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a distribution and logistics location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors, while your strong communication skills and commitment to exceptional customer service will reflect our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as required by the logistics and distribution environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and/or activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
