Job Summary Rio Salado College (RSC) is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to join the International & Welcome Center teams. The position provides essential support for an assigned program through basic research, preliminary analysis, coordination and facilitation of day-to-day operations. The role also includes transactional and administrative support across key functional areas, including International Student Services, Welcome Desk operations, and international partnership administration. Serving as the lead for partnership coordination and processing, the position ensures accuracy and efficiency in related documentation and communications. Additionally, the role plays a key part in planning and coordinating events that support student engagement and program objectives. This multifaceted position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a diverse and dynamic college environment. To best serve the students, department, and college, this position requires physical presence on campus. Essential Functions 40% - Serves as processing lead and provides essential support for partnership planning and coordination; lead in providing partnership concierge services 20% - Provides essential support with other departmental service functions (i.e. assists with international student enrollment and retention efforts, provides Welcome Desk functions, event coordination, ensures in person staff coverage, etc.) 20% - Assists with the creation and maintenance of program materials, forms, and communications 10% - Organizes and maintains program records and ensures compliance with policies and procedures 10% - Collects data on program participation, prepares program reports, and works with management to identify and implement enrollment and retention strategies and student success opportunities; performs related duties to support the goals of the International Office & Welcome Desk as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and one year of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered Desired Qualifications A. Two (2) or more years' experience working in a higher education setting B. Two (2) or more years' experience in international student services and/or study abroad operations C. Two (2) or more years' experience in partnership coordination D. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment E. Customer service orientation with a helpful and professional demeanor F. Proficiency with office productivity tools using computer or web-based technology in the delivery of program and services (i.e. online databases, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Student Information Systems and other internet resources) G. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (As evidenced in the cover letter and resume) Special Working Conditions Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License and/or a GED Examiner certification may be required for some assignments. ADA and Other Requirements: Positions in this class typically require: fingering, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Working Conditions: Work is routinely performed in an indoor, office environment.
