Learn more about Whitman College here: https://www.whitman.edu/about/ About the Role: As the Sustainability Manager, you'll lead Whitman College's efforts to embed sustainability into everyday operations and long-term strategy. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Facilities Services, you'll collaborate with students, staff, faculty, and community partners to reduce environmental impact, promote sustainable practices, and align with institutional goals. You'll serve as the college's primary resource and external liaison for sustainability initiatives - including donor engagement - while supervising one part-time staff member and student employees. Through collaboration and accountability, you'll ensure Whitman's sustainability efforts reflect and serve the entire community. What You'll Be Doing: Campus Sustainability Leadership Lead the implementation of the Campus Sustainability Plan (2024) and support long-term energy management initiatives.
