Position Title: Quality Control Technician
Wage: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri) Join a team where precision and quality go hand in hand! QPS Employment Group is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician who thrives on accuracy and teamwork. This hands-on, shop-floor-focused role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with precision measurement tools, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating closely with production teams to maintain top-tier quality throughout the manufacturing process. Quality Control Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform in-process inspections on the shop floor to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality compliance. - Conduct final product audits before shipment. - Perform receiving inspections on raw materials and finished parts as needed. - Handle walk-in inspection tasks and support production teams with measurement or quality inquiries. - Communicate effectively with machine operators, supervisors, and management to resolve quality concerns quickly and professionally. Quality Control Technician Requirements: - Proficient in interpreting part and assembly blueprints, tolerances, and GD&T symbols. - Strong shop math skills, including angles and conversions. - Experience working in a manufacturing or machining environment, supporting production teams directly. - Skilled with a variety of inspection tools, including: Dial calipers, Micrometers (various types), Dial indicators and height gages, Optical comparator / Optical CMM, Go / No-Go plug and ring gages, and Pi Tape (training available). teresa.considine@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
