Overview
Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Risk Mitigation Assistant. Primary Function: provide support for all areas of the Risk Mitigation Department through administrative and operational duties and functions in the areas of reports, coordinating department mail, ordering supplies, and processing restitution payments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare reports for Risk Mitigation management at regular intervals.
- Prepare monthly fraud charge off reports for Member Debt Solutions and perform applicable maintenance. Provide reports to management for review.
- Assist department with administrative support including paperwork, filing, distributing department mail, ordering office supplies, updating logs, distributing incoming service events, affidavits, or other queued mail/inbox items.
- Process daily checks for restitution payments.
- Perform monthly user audits of various systems.
- Conduct monthly reviews of system configuration settings and report findings to Chief Risk Officer and Risk Mitigation management.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

- Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate, or state authorized high school equivalent certificate required.
- Minimum 1 year providing support in an office environment preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in a financial institution preferred
