The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: The Cardiac Arrhythmia Tech prepares and educates patients on telemetry transmitters, telemetry monitoring and electrocardiograms. Uses and understands the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care. Assists new employees in the policy and procedures of the department. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent BLS through the American Heart Association Successful completion of all orientation programs Preferred Successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course Scheduling Requirements: Day Shift 24 hours per week 7am-7:30pm Every other weekend required Holiday requirements Essential Functions: Prepares and educates patients on telemetry transmitter, telemetry monitoring and electrocardiograms. Uses and understands the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care. Assists new employees in the policy and procedures of the department.
