Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Orlando, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
  • This role involves inspecting, testing, and sampling materials, parts, and products to ensure they conform to all specifications and quality standards.
  • The Quality Inspector works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures and practices to complete tasks.
  • Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and internal and customer specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to inspect products and materials.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases.
  • Identify and report any defects or non-conformities and collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Perform audits and inspections of processes and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.

  • Pay rate: $24.04-$26.44/Hour
  • Hours: 9/80 2nd Shift
  • Length: Contract to Direct (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Inspection
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in regulated or standardized Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001:2015 or AS9100
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
  • Knowledge of metrology methods.
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Self-starter, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess exceptional communication (both oral and written) and listening skills, with a strong orientation to details, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills at all levels of an organization and the ability to work effectively across functions within a matrix environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
