Career Description
Job Summary:
Performs tasks to assist the Project Management team complete their duties more effectively. Organizes and maintains electronic file system for projects. Verbally and electronically communicates with both internal and external customers through extensive use of email and phone. Keeps the PM informed of any changes or modifications of their specific jobs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure that CSC detailing department is supported by downloading essential contract drawings and related information from customers or outside sources and posts to job file on server.
- Maintain the general E-mailbox for the specific location of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Send out approval drawings supplied by the detailing department and update PM software with dates.
- Download Approved drawings from the customer websites, enter received dates, and acknowledge back to customer of receipt.
- Send address change requests for sites and communicate to PM.
- When requested, contact customer for expected delivery dates to maintain a good schedule and communicate back to PM results.
- When requested, send out RFI's from internal detailing department and post in file on server.
- Send out all column coordination sheets. Receive, download, and send on to detail any discrepancies or changes from customer for column coordination.
- Maintain records of communications with customers (phone calls, conversations, standard letters and notices); update CSC systems with the appropriate dates and keep up-to-date and accurate notes.
- Request any needed drawings from customer such as ESFR, E-plans, Architectural, etc.
- Backup point of contact for PM's if they are out of the office.
- Update delivery dates in the system upon instruction of PM. Also update OFA and BFA dates as requested.
- Utilize and understand email templates to complete the tasks above.
- Could be requested to manage small projects or process list jobs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. The range may vary by location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Career Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, ability to provide information and ideas so others will understand.
- Must be able to effectively manage time and take direction from many sources.
- Must be able to schedule events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and other software.
- Ability to travel for training and to jobsites as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
- Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Occasional adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
- Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Constant use of computer for prolonged periods.
- Constantly thinking and processing information.
- Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- General office environment.
- May require occasional exposure to production areas with airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Personal protection equipment is required when entering a manufacturing plant.
