POSITION SUMMARY:


As the Sales Operations Business Analyst, you will act as an analytical expert and will support the sales planning & analysis functions. This position will be responsible for key areas such as sales analytics and reporting, sales forecasting & quota analytics, along with data visualization set-ups and predictive modeling using Power BI. Ideal candidates will have Business Analysis experience within the sales operation's organization, ability to understand and implement sales planning processes, experience executing report migration from MS Access to Power BI, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun environment



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:



  • Implements and manages reports and dashboards in Power BI, and Excel ensuring sales reps and leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
  • Assist with global monthly/quarterly/semi-annual sales planning including the setting of revenue targets and territory alignment
  • Develop and deliver operating reports on sales performance, projections, quota setting, and other key metrics
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, reporting and derive insights using data spanning a variety of sources
  • Support data governance and stewardship work streams
  • Provide strategic and tactical support on sales execution to sales management and senior management team
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with sales management and other key customers to ensure ongoing decision support needs are met
  • Drive automation by leveraging technology to increase efficiency and quality

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:




    • Bachelor's degree in a Quantitative field of study, Accounting, or Business Analysis is required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • 2-3 years of work experience as a data and/or business analyst specifically using Power BI.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, & PowerPoint and the use of sales data reporting tools.
    • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels within the organization
    • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical abilities with solid attention to detail
    • Ability to learn and apply new technology
    • Ability to travel 10%




PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:




    • Advanced degree
    • 4-5 years sales operations experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry
    • SQL or data query language skill or experience




OTHER REQUIREMENTS:




    • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
    • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
    • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
