Wire Transfer & Electronic Banking Specialist Location: Cherry Creek Department: Banking Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Entry Level Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Wire Transfer & Electronic Banking Specialist to join our banking operations team. This role is responsible for processing and verifying wire transfers, managing electronic banking tasks, and supporting internal customers with wire-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in banking, particularly in wire transfers and online banking, and will demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: * Obtain all wire transfers from internal banking products and wire transfer systems. * Verify authorization for outgoing wire requests. * Confirm incoming wire transfers for correct account ownership. * Electronically process wires from internet banking platforms to WireXchange software and the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB). * Ensure all wire transfers from branches and internet banking are received and sent to the FRB; perform end-of-day balancing. * Process incoming wires from the FRB to customer accounts. * Perform mid-day and end-of-day wire total balancing. * Provide research support for internal customers regarding wire transfers. * Answer inquiries via the wire transfer phone line. * Monitor and maintain balances at correspondent banks. * Process electronic securities transactions. * Handle consumer online banking enrollments. * Assist with mobile deposit review and resolution. Required Qualifications: * 1-3 years of banking experience, specifically in online banking and wire transfers. * Experience reviewing wire activity and deposits for potential fraud or account holds. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to correspond professionally with branches, approvers, and executive management. * Background in branch banking roles such as Teller, Universal Banker, or Personal Banker. * High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications: * Bilingual in Spanish and English.
