Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Health Center. This position ensures a welcoming environment and efficient administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and checking in patients/clients. * Answer incoming calls, screen inquiries, and direct individuals to appropriate services or staff. * Schedule appointments through email, phone, and in-person interactions. * Send appointment reminders and ensure completion of necessary paperwork prior to initial visits. * Collaborate with the Office Manager to address workflow challenges and improve operational efficiency. * Recommend and implement enhancements to office procedures, forms, and protocols. * Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information regarding services. * Maintain confidential and accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations. Qualifications: * High school diploma required * 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. * Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus. * Basic understanding of health insurance processes. Details: * Pay: $21/hr. * Pay cycle - weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered for your enrollment. * Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm (1 hr. lunch, 37.5 Hours per week) *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
