Job Summary: This role will oversee a team of engineers responsible for managing and overseeing specific tasks required to create and manage infrastructure. This includes the implementation, and maintenance of all relevant IT systems with limited complexity, as well as the management of staff responsible for these systems.Works closely with other IT leaders and business stakeholders to develop and implement IT strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives. Also ensures that all relevant IT systems and components are operating at maximum efficiency and effectiveness, and that they are in compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and standards. System Uptime: Ensure systems are available and performing as expected and that issues are being addressed quickly. System Performance: Ensure relevant systems meet or exceed business requirements. Innovation: Identify and implement new technologies or trends that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems. Incident Resolution Time: Ensure lowest possible resolution time and minimizing downtime. Capacity Utilization: Ensure IT systems are being used efficiently and that the organization is getting the most out of its investment. Cost Management: Ensure relevant systems expenses are in line with the budget and the team is managing the budget effectively and efficiently. Security Compliance: Ensures the organization's compliance with relevant security policies and standards are being met or exceeded. Customer Satisfaction: Ensures satisfaction of both internal and external customers are at a high satisfaction rate.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Managing an infrastructure team of limited size and complexity consisting of individual contributors and third-party service providers (where applicable. Overseeing the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of relevant IT systems and components of limited complexity. Ensuring that all relevant IT systems and components are secure, reliable, and scalable, and that they are in compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards. Leading and managing a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management. Collaborating with other IT and business leaders to align IT initiatives with business objectives and ensure that the IT systems support organizational needs. Assist in developing and managing IT budgets, including forecasting and cost management. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT, and making recommendations for improvements. Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers, assists in negotiating contracts and agreements, and ensuring that service level agreements are met. Assists in development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that IT systems can recover quickly in the event of a disruption. Providing regular reports and updates on IT key metrics and KPIs. Ensure documentation of relevant areas is maintained, accurate, and up-to-date. Budget Management: Assist in managing IT budgets. Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance. Limited travel ~10% On call rotation, after hours support

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training
Base Pay Range $112,200 - $145,900/ year While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
