Description & Requirements Embedded within the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, the Center for the Development of Therapeutics (CDoT) is a highly collaborative organization of professional drug discovery scientists. Our mission is to translate the deep biological insights emerging from the Broad community into new therapeutics. To accomplish this mission, we partner with faculty from MIT, Harvard, and the Harvard teaching hospitals together with industry professionals in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and venture capital firms and advance cutting-edge drug discovery projects. We also create new technologies and work to combine the unique capabilities of the Broad Institute to enable new therapeutic approaches that will broadly benefit the scientific community. * Design and execute cell-based assays for drug discovery projects, including both genetic and small molecule screening. * Culture and maintain diverse cell lines and primary cells with a high degree of precision. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic projects and ensure that research plans, timelines, and deliverables are met. * Analyze, interpret, and explain experimental data, presenting research plans and results to both internal teams and external collaborators. * Innovate new cellular assay methods and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic research environment. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in cell biology, chemical biology, or a related scientific field. * Demonstrated experience in culturing, deriving, and maintaining various cell lines. * Proven ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently to meet project * Maintain detailed experimental records, documentation, and written protocols * Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. * Ability to adapt and effectively manage changes in a fast-paced dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with plate-based assays and high-throughput screening. * Familiarity with advanced techniques such as high-content imaging or molecular |
