As an Install Coordinator, you would be the direct interface between customers, TUSD service, sales, PPM team and logistics to ensure the efficient coordination and installation of TRUMPF equipment at locations throughout North America. Review product SOCs (sales order confirmation) to prepare and determine onsite needs. Work closely with the Product & Project Management team (PPM) to align in regard to installation schedule, equipment prioritization and to define scope of work. Regularly align with other TRUMPF subsidiaries to discuss cross border sales of solid-state equipment. Provide customers with pre-installation checklists, confirm site preparedness prior to FSE arrival. Keep all lines of communication open with customers and colleagues regarding potential delays, missing parts, issues etc. Conduct on-site pre-installation meetings with customers in the US, CA and MX as necessary. Visit ongoing installation projects to ensure quality, confirm schedule and resolve any potential issues. Work with spare parts and logistics teams to coordinate machine delivery schedule, installation relevant parts and installation equipment including necessary tools delivery prior to FSE arrival. Partner with Field Service Engineers and Contractors on proper installation techniques, ensure work is being performed to TRUMPF standards. Ensure all equipment acceptance protocols are followed. Keep all internal documentation systems up to date. Must be able to work flexible schedules to include weekends and/or holidays as necessary. Be responsible for the coordination of equipment moves from different customer locations. (decommissioning/re-commissioning) 100% travel both domestically and internationally for training or customer support purposes
Education & Experience
Two-year technical degree or two or more years of experience in project management, field service, repair or customer service preferred. Electrical and computer systems experience. Previous experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems or mechatronics preferred. Experience with TRUMPF equipment considered advantageous. Previous experience with hand tools and measurement tools required Must have strong problem-solving and excellent organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Software: Microsoft Office; Word; Outlook; Excel and PowerPoint
