Production Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Primary area of responsibility is production to include supporting the Superintendent and Operations Manager

• Managing all production personnel in assigned area

• Responsible for daily/weekly labor numbers and targets

• Responsible for all daily/weekly yield numbers

• Managing daily/weekly schedules

• Managing daily/weekly Kronos reports

• Responsible for all technical aspects of production procedures, focusing on safety procedures and programs, and adherence to SOPs

• Continuously searching for ways to reduce costs

• Assuming the duties of the superintendent in his/her absence

• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an onsite position.

Qualified candidates for the Production Supervisor position should possess the following:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a beef plant environment

• Staff management experience

• Proven leadership experience in a team environment.

• Basic industrial maintenance knowledge

• Basic Computer skills

• Ability to work successfully in both a team environment and independently

• Excellent work ethic, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to make good business decisions quickly

• Must be able to manage projects to successful conclusion

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Strong listening/comprehension skills

• Ability and desire to stay composed and objective

• Able to resolve conflicts in a fair, firm, and consistent manner

• Ability to multi-task

• Must be willing and available to work any shift
