What You'll Do

As a Lead Planner / Scheduler, you will oversee and manage the planning and scheduling of site operation projects as established in procedures and guidelines set by the company for the areas of people, equipment, emulsion manufacturing, material and environmental safety, cost performance, asset utilization, customer product and service delivery. Other duties include:

  • Work directly with the Site Manager to allocate resources to achieve Operational Excellence through focused management and measured performance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE Performance Standards, and site security program.

  • Collects and reports required monthly H&S statistics

  • Proactively work to maintain compliance with safety systems.

  • Conduct monthly H&S inspections and report noncompliance

  • Respond to safety related incident, and/ participate in investigation

  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement projects that have financial benefits for both Dyno Nobel and our customer.

  • Propose and implement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Define project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.

  • Ensure schedules are realistic and achievable, considering resource availability and potential constraints.

  • dentify and allocate resources (personnel, equipment, materials) effectively.Manage CMMS maintenance systems for all company assets to minimum company standards.

  • Generate dashboard reports on maintenance costs, utilization and availability of mobile assets and emulsion plant.

  • Work closely with engineering as needed in the commissioning of new equipment.

  • Communicate improvements in equipment, procedures, systems, and management to other employees in region

  • Communicate with other business units to ensure equipment meets quality and operating standards

  • Provide leadership to operators and mechanics to execute the planned and scheduled maintenance thru daily inspections to ensure work is completed timely, safely, and with quality against maintenance standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Associate degree or combination of education /work experience. Equivalent experience will be accepted in place of formal education

  • 5+ years working experience with part inventory, asset management or maintenance.

  • People leadership skills (instruct, coach and train)

  • Experience with manufacture of emulsion manufacturing and product delivery

  • Experience with safety, environment, quality, maintenance, and training systems.

  • 2+ years of MSHA work experience

  • Strong understanding and acceptance of responsibility for compliance to relevant OSHA, ATF, DOT and Environmental regulations

  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
