JOB PURPOSE: The CBP Workforce and Family Readiness Program is seeking an experienced mobile wellness expert whose primary responsibility is to manage the Endeavors Mobile Readiness Unit. This person would facilitate transportation of staff members and service providers, with a particular focus on serving the clients in remote areas. Strong driving skills are a fundamental requirement, and applicants must possess a valid driver's license with a proven track record of safe driving. Working with intake specialists to ensure program eligibility and compliance with program. Ensure all federal, state, and local laws are met to guarantee the safety of both passengers and the general public. Furthermore, the driver will play a crucial role in supporting the program by providing a well-maintained, clean and sanitized transportation vehicle. Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop operating standards for the Mobile Readiness Unit. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED is required. EXPERIENCE: 5 years' experience of working with various vulnerable populations. Experience in facilitating transportation within programs. Experience with commercial transportation or fleets is preferred. ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion. LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record. VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.Eligible to receive, pass, and maintain security investigation background check. Must be a U.S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident.Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries; Obtain a clearance for a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card;Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
