What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading technical sales campaigns and guiding multidisciplinary teams to develop and deploy simulation solutions in customer design workflows.
  • Providing proactive technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of sales opportunities-conducting technical discovery, negotiating success criteria, and delivering compelling product presentations, demos, and evaluations.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to craft go-to-market strategies, develop promotional materials, and support industry events and conferences.
  • Scoping and delivering professional services projects, offering expert consulting to help customers optimize their product development with Ansys software.
  • Translating customer requirements into new product features by working closely with product development teams and shaping the product roadmap.
  • Mentoring colleagues and leading knowledge-sharing initiatives to build best practices and expand team expertise.
  • Testing new product versions on industrial problems and developing reusable application solutions.
  • Actively engaging in innovation initiatives to enhance technology, offerings, and team productivity.

What You'll Need:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related field (BS+8, MS+6, PhD+3 years of experience minimum).
  • Proven expertise with Ansys software and/or other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM packages.
  • Subject matter expertise in high frequency electromagnetics, RF or SI/PI electronics design, and simulation-driven product development.
  • Strong programming capabilities with Python or similar languages; experience with PyAEDT, PyEDB, or simulation software APIs.
  • Solid understanding of electronics design workflows, data flows, and the role of simulation technology.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities in customer-facing and project team environments.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, agile project management, and GUI development (desktop or browser-based).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub) and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% (preferably up to 50% for some roles).
