Job Summary: Integral member of the customer service team in Financial Aid, Scholarships and Student Employment; serves as an employment liaison between the student employee and the hiring department; disseminates employment information and collaborates with Counseling and Career Development Services.Job Description:
Minimal Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Any one or combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the categories below: A. College coursework in any curriculum, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
B. Work experience performing office/clerical activities, including the use of computer systems. 3. One (1) year (12 months) of work experience comparable to the second level of this series. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. (Hours may vary depending on departmental needs). Location: NEIU Main Campus (5500 North St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625) Setting: Office Support Specialist is an on campus position, not eligible for Hybrid or Remote work.
