The Machine Operator at our Baldwin, WI location involves the set up and operation of metal working machines to fabricate to specifications. This is an onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Role Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications

• Schedule and handle materials

• Assure compliance with print specifications

• Utilize computer programming Maintain a clean, organized work area

• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.

• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED; Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions

• Knowledge of general safety practices

• Knowledge of general metal material properties

• Ability to work with close tolerances

• Strong mechanical ability and mathematical skills

• Communicate effectively

• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.

• Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.

• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.

• Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.

• Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired

Hourly Pay Range: $26.14

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.

This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
