Job Description:

The Customer Service Representative (I, II, III, Float) provides a "Wow" experience for customers, assists customers with financial transactions. Offers a wide variety of services and advises as to how best utilize company products and services in order to meet personal financial goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide excellent customer service in person at the counter, through the drive-up, and over the phone, assisting customers with their banking needs in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Accountable for cash drawer; locking cash drawer; balancing currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift; and reporting any discrepancies to supervisor.

  • Answers basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.

  • Prints debit cards and signs the customer up for Online Banking and services associated with OB.

  • Answers the phone using Brilliant at the Basics customer service.

  • Actively uses and discusses the Bank's Tell-A-Friend Program.

  • Runs most DNA transactions and/or knows where to find procedures to be self-sufficient.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent, prior customer service experience, cash handling experience, and/or sales experience preferred but not required.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Interpret and use data for decision making.
