Learn more about ENSCO. Position Description For over 35 years, KLD Labs, Inc. has delivered innovative machine vision and intelligent measurement solutions to the global railway industry. Our technologies support monitoring, inspection, condition-based maintenance, and asset management needs for rail operators worldwide. As a trusted leader in transportation automation and safety systems, we design, manufacture, and customize solutions that improve efficiency and reliability across the rail sector. Responsibilities for this position include: Developing (in C++ and C#), testing, debugging, and supporting our products. This includes software that is part of our real-time data acquisition and measurement systems, as well as internal applications that are used to aid in analysis and product development. Writing documentation for the engineering and support staff. Interacting with staff from other departments (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Service, etc.). Troubleshooting issues that appear in the lab and at remote sites. Developing and implementing RESTful APIs to interface with external systems. Handling the configuration of Git and training our staff on its use. Optimizing existing applications to run faster and more efficiently. Qualifications Required Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum 7 yrs closely related experience, including demonstrated technical/scientific expertise in at least one field and proficiency in other technical fields. Recognized within firm as highly qualified in scientific/technical specialty.
