While reporting to the Area Controller, you will support accounting and business policies and procedures necessary to close the books and support the business unit including; the monthly closing of assigned plants within the network, preparing and submitting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting and maintaining various division and business unit financial processes, preparing and maintaining various summary reports. What you'll be doing:
- Monthly general ledger close and support for assigned plants
- Detect and correct obvious errors during the closing process
- Review monthly operating statements and balance sheets for reasonableness, ensuring that financial statements are complete and accurate
- Support and maintain various division and business unit financial processes
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, as assigned
- Prepare and maintain various reports, as assigned
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with plant personnel
- Analyze and report plant operational performance. Utilize data to monitor and validate performance by machine, by department, or by shift.
- Maintain a high quality and professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers
- Partner with FP&A team on budgets, forecasts and standards
- Stay up to date with accounting concepts, practices and procedures
- Responsible for maintaining strong internal controls
- Participate in plant audits
- Support physical inventory and fixed asset counts
- Identify opportunities to improve standardization and process for efficiency of tasks. Implement new procedures as required by leadership.

- You have 3+ years of related experience
- You have manufacturing/cost accounting experience
Compensation:
- Accountant III: The annual base salary range for this role is from $74,000 to $83,250.
- Accountant IV: The annual base salary range for this role is from $84,640 to $95,220.
- Senior Accountant: The annual base salary range for this role is from $102,080 to $114,840, plus an annual target bonus of 7.5% of base salary.
