Press Ganeyhas an exciting opportunity for an Employee Experience (EX) Solution Director whose primary responsibilities are to drive growth and expansion of all Employee Experience solutions. This role is pivotal in driving business development, deepening client relationships, and positioning Press Ganey as the premier partner for Employee Experience in healthcare.

The Press Ganey platform is purpose-built for healthcare; our people have decades of experience with employee engagement in healthcare. Together, they are a powerful resource that gives our customers the tools to rally everyone-their leaders, their front-line workers, and their staff. Our employee engagement technology empowers organizations to unify safety culture, clinical excellence, DEI, patient experience, and workforce insights-all within a single, integrated solution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading business development efforts across assigned Market, with a keen understanding of white space and new business opportunities.
  • Developing a targeted growth plan for use in assigned Market including prospecting and lead generation, qualification and closing strategies.
  • Partnering closely with Marketing and Inside Sales to execute on all prospecting strategies.
  • Partnering with sales team on sales cycle or managing the full sales cycle. Being flexible to work in either scenario.
  • Being a Subject Matter Expert on all of Press Ganey's EX Solutions and how they are used by current clients and how they can be used by future clients.
  • Being a Subject Matter Expert of Press Ganey's Employee Experience platform and effectively demo solutions to prospects.
  • Exhibiting strong presentation and facilitation skills and being able to make sales presentations to customers and prospects at all levels
  • Being proficient in highlighting the benefits of Press Ganey's Employee Experience solutions and competitive advantages to facilitate client and prospect understanding.
  • Leading and inspiring clients. Based on an understanding of their needs, setting fortha vision for what is possible by leveraging Press Ganey's suite of Employee Experience solutions.
  • Leading contract negotiation discussions for all EX opportunities in assigned Market.
  • Being a student of the business. Exhibiting strong knowledge about top problems clients are trying to solve and how Press Ganey's Employee Experience solutions are uniquely positioned to meet those needs.
  • Maintaining a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Leading RFP Win Strategy and proposal development process, in partnership with Field Operations, to ensure the creation of compelling, client tailored, winning deliverables.
  • Navigating across Press Ganey to leverage experts, executives, and sales engineers to participate in the sales process. Acting as lead voice and guide for how these individuals will operate within the opportunity to ensure an optimal outcome.
  • Developing and maintaining a strong collaborative partnership with colleagues within Press Ganey's EX Business Unit leveraging assigned Press Ganey project teams to identify growth opportunities with existing clients.
  • Role modeling strong adherence to sales process including use of prescribed pricing tools, development of a workforce strategy to meet client's needs, and ongoing use of Salesforce.com as critical business tool.
  • Maintaining ongoing calls and communication with sales team to ensure tight alignment on growth pursuits, including ongoing 1:1 meetings and adherence to Salesforce reporting and dashboards.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales, business development, and/or consulting experience in the Workforce/Employee Experience space.
  • Healthcare industry experience would be a strong plus.
  • Strong collaboration / team selling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, listening, demonstration and presentations skills.
  • Strong writing skills to include presentations (PowerPoint) and RFPs
  • Solid working knowledge of strategic planning, execution of strategy, budgeting, business development and sales.
  • Demonstrated solid leadership qualities and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Flexible to travel up to 50%.

This role can beremote (work from home)in the U.S. or based in ourChicago, Boston or South Bend hubs. For those in-office, we follow a hybrid model-Tuesdays through Thursdays in-office, with flexibility to work from home on other days and adjusted when traveling.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 - $155,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
