Job Overview: Bernhardt is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage our specialty retail customers. This role requires a fast-paced and detail- oriented individual capable of managing multiple projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables while maintaining strong relationships with our retail customers.

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for our specialty retail accounts.
  • Manage all aspects of residential upholstery projects with our specialty retail accounts ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including merchandising, sourcing/purchasing, product development and manufacturing (domestic and overseas) to ensure seasonal product launches are met.
  • Troubleshoot any issues related to product quality or production delays and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Manage the logistics of materials procurement and delivery, working with vendors and suppliers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including product details, pricing, etc.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in home furnishings or related industry.
  • Proven experience managing specialty retail accounts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of upholstery materials, production processes, and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and cost management skills.
