T.G. Lee Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable Warehouse Driver (CDL required). The Warehouse Driver drives a straight truck or pup truck at vehicle parking, yard or docking areas to move, position or park trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving functions. Transport trucks for repairs, as necessary, according to policies and procedures and safety protocols. May also operate wash bay using all necessary equipment to clean trucks. Keep the yard neat and orderly.
- Perform truck movement according to prioritization to optimize plant or warehouse efficiencies and production needs
- Move trucks to and from the service department and around dock area
- Spot or position loaded and unloaded trucks at assigned dock space for unloading or loading
- Maintain accurate truck and inventory movement log
- Follow steps to ensure proper operation and perform periodic preventive maintenance including pre and post trip inspections of equipment in the area
- Perform duties required to ensure that assigned area is sanitary and clean
- Wash exterior and interior of trucks if appropriate for yard location
- Complete sales route deliveries, as needed
- Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, DOT, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity and accidents and injuries
- Attend all driver workshops and training sessions

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Straight truck or pup truck experience, within the last five years preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements
- Meet all DOT requirements
- Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements
- Certification and/or License - Current CDL (Class B/Class B with Air Brake but Class A is preferred) license in state of residence
- Understanding of DOT transportation regulations related to lawful operation
- Able to work safely and recognize sudden hazards and adjust accordingly
- Able to use computers and technology needed for the job
- Skills with math sufficient to calculate load size
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
