What We're Seeking

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) contributes to company performance by providing day-to-day execution of the HR People Strategy for the Functional Group(s). Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management; and talent management. May carry out additional responsibilities to include employee development initiatives and training. May carry out additional responsibilities to include organizational design; employee development initiatives and training.

Compensation: The target salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 annually, consistent with our internal compensation framework. This position is classified as Grade 15, with a full pay range of $84,613. 60 - $127, 028.80. You are eligible for an incentive bonus up to 5% of your annual salary, prorated based on your start date. Final pay will be determined by your experience, skills, internal equity, and available budget.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)


Business Partnership & Support

  • Understand business strategies and activities; assess needs and barriers to drive performance through people strategies (e.g., leadership development, succession planning, acquisitions, integrations).
  • Advocate for the needs of the Functional Group.
  • Advise and guide Functional Group Leaders.
  • Ensure leaders are aligned with and exemplify the company's values.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support.


Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team as needed, including sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and extending offers.
  • Participate in intake calls to ensure clear understanding of business needs.
  • Facilitate pre-hire onboarding and New Hire Orientation for the Functional Group.


Talent Management

  • Partner with managers on short-term people plans and annual goal setting to align with strategic priorities.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
  • Lead or support annual HR cycle deliverables (e.g., performance and talent management) for the assigned Functional Group.


Employee Relations

  • Provide daily coaching to employees and leaders on employee relations, policy interpretation, and talent development.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and manage grievances.
  • Strengthen work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Support the unemployment process, including claims responses and appeal hearings as needed.


Safety & Wellness

  • Serve on the Safety Program Steering Committee.
  • Support Workers' Compensation claims for individuals and the Functional Group.
  • Collaborate with the HR Specialist for Safety and Wellness.


Continuous Improvement

  • Promote cultural change and continuous improvement within HR to deliver a high-quality, consistent, and collaborative service.
  • Proactively gather and act on employee feedback to enhance service delivery and experience.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices to align people strategies with business objectives.


Leadership & Teamwork

  • Foster alignment with HR team objectives and model effective leadership behaviors.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to HR team members.
  • Collaborate across teams to support growth and development.
  • Offer consistent feedback and support.


What You'll Need (Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of Human Resource experience with increased level of responsibility.
  • 1+ years experience with HRIS required.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally convey information to others, be an active listener and develop healthy working relationships with others.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Good judgement, decision making skills and ability to keep information confidential.
  • Must be able to work and communicate well with a variety of people at all levels within the company, as well as outside of the company.
  • Must have some flexibility for coverage on 2nd shift
  • Must work in office Monday - Friday


(Preferred Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or other relevant industry experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/operations setting.
  • Bi-lingual with the prominent language for the region is a plus (Spanish, Hmong, etc.).
  • Previous experience with UltiPro/UKG.
  • An appropriate people management qualification such as SPHR, PHR or SCP Certifications.
