Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager independently leads medium to large-scale healthcare and/or technology projects independently. Acts as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders and ensures delivery aligns with scope, timeline, and budget.

  • Manages end-to-end delivery of projects with moderate to high complexity.
  • Leads cross-functional project teams and coordinates with client regarding project activities.
  • Tracks milestones, deliverables, and metrics using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, EVM).
  • Manages risks and develops mitigation plans.
  • Supports business strategy alignment through effective planning and execution.
  • Prepares executive-level reports and conducts stakeholder presentations.
  • Owns and monitors project budget and resource forecast in collaboration with finance.
  • Ensures adherence to internal governance protocols and compliance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of project management experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, PowerPoint); direct experience using Microsoft Project or similar tools required.
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple large-scale initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred (Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, Business Science Mathematics, or related field preferred).
  • Experience with healthcare delivery systems, Medicaid/Medicare programs, or government contracts strongly preferred.
  • PMP or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred or actively working toward certification.

Pay Range

USD $107,440.00 - USD $134,300.00 /Yr.
