Here's what you'd do:

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks. Adjusts, makes modifications, and performs replacements on assets as directed.
• Troubleshoots, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, and systems, as well as related equipment.
• Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Reports data in the prescribed format and maintains asset status in online systems.
• Utilise test measurements and diagnostic equipment to calibrate, diagnose and repair equipment, including working standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the calibration database for assets and test equipment, including status, location, calibration findings and results, special requirements, and other relevant information.
• Perform operational checks on assets and test equipment that have returned from external factory calibration.
• Review 3rd party calibration certificates for completeness and potential risks or data concerns.
• Maintain ESD controls.
• Perform periodic maintenance of lab standards used in calibration efforts.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 /hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week. (1^st shift).

Length: Contract (6 months).

• High School Diploma or GED with 8 years of experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in AC/DC, Frequency Counters, Power Sensors, RF Power, Spectrum Analysers, Network Analysers, PXI, PXIe, SCXI, Torque, Pressure, Temperature, Lab Master, Force, Fibre Optics, National Instruments Calibration Executive, HP Vee, SureCal, Fluke Runtime, MetTeam, Counters, Oscilloscopes, DAQ, Generators, Microwave, Avionics, Dimensional, HP Basic.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the use of all test equipment, including but not limited to oscilloscopes, meters, signal generators, power supplies and speciality tools needed for instrument gauges.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in performing calibration.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in operating equipment.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical and RF critical.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Met/Team Calibrion software.

• Associate Degree with 4 years of experience.
• Able to work in a team-based environment and interact with support team members.
• Knowledge of General metrology practices.
• Z540 and or 17025.
• Military background or NASA.
