Summary:

The Medical Assistant will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families as supervised and assigned by the RN/LVN and/or physician/nurse practitioner. The Medical Assistant will deliver competent care with a team orientated attitude and an emphasis on good customer relations and sound clinical judgment. This position floats to the various CCPN office locations as assigned. Eagerly adjusts to a variety of locations, quickly learning differing routines, procedures, and physician expectations. Role model for all staff, displaying strict adherence to all policies and procedures; impeccable judgement. Exhibits extraordinary dependability and adaptability. Extensive travel required. Skillfully and consistently performs daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure.

Education & Experience:

  • A Graduate of an accredited school of medical assisting.

  • 1-year experience as a medical assistant in a pediatric outpatient care setting preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Current AHA healthcare provider BLS.

  • Valid Texas driver's license and current Texas automobile liability insurance.

  • Current National MA certification - preferred.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm (Depending on clinic assignment.)

  • Float position will travel to multiple CCPN clinics (Fort Worth & Prosper)
