Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Work Schedule

This position is for 2nd Shift, with working hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be required to support production needs, including occasional overtime and willingness to work weekends as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

At FUCHS, we're committed to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. We're seeking a proactive and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our afternoon shift operations at the Harvey South Plant. This role is essential in driving production performance, maintaining compliance, and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.



  • Oversee daily production activities on 2nd shift, including scheduling, overtime management, and weekend coverage.
  • Lead and support Production Leads and Operators in batch manufacturing and container filling.
  • Ensure production schedules are met and aligned with plant goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics and report progress to the Plant Manager.
  • Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, housekeeping (6S), and quality standards.
  • Conduct audits of plant processes and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage training programs for Production Leads and Operators, including safety and job-specific skills.
  • Serve as the primary shift contact for batch progress updates across business units.
  • Coordinate basic equipment and facility maintenance with internal teams.
  • Oversee inventory control through cycle counts and Kanban systems to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office tools to monitor production, analyze audits, and track performance.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate safety updates and operational priorities.
  • Review and correct SAP process order movements to ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the laboratory to resolve issues and optimize efficiency.
  • Escalate incidents requiring external support or notification as needed.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and provide feedback for development.
  • Support order completion across all phases of manufacturing.
  • Provide coverage for peer absences and perform additional duties as assigned.



Qualifications we are looking for:



  • Directly supervises 6-8 employees on the 2nd shift at the Harvey South Plant.
  • High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in batch manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster a respectful, harassment-free workplace.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and promote teamwork.
  • Experience with ISO/TS/IATF standards and lean manufacturing principles (6S, continuous improvement) is highly desirable.
