A Day In The Life
The Brand Experience Manager, under the direction of the Senior Manager - Dealer Development, will be the first point of contact for all dealership facility activities in Gulf States Toyota. This Manager will be chiefly tasked with ensuring that the day-to-day dealer Toyota facility investments & physical changes create the best possible outcome for the dealer's operational goals, their customers & associates, Gulf States Toyota, and the Toyota Brand.

As a Brand Experience Manager you will:

  • Through constant Field presence and communication, identify & cross-communicate all dealership facility actions to management as the eyes and ears of the department.
  • Dealership facility projects will be assigned for follow on tracking/management/ counseling as Department leadership deems necessary.
  • Some dealership facility projects will be assigned to the FFC to oversee, track, and report.
  • Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of the GST Facility Review process:
  • Schedule Facility Review with the Field & Dealer.
  • Perform the Facility Review in Safety Culture iAuditor Application.
  • Present Completed Review to GM/DPs & GST attendees as needed.
  • Follow up with resulting dealership facility plans & activities as needed
  • Capture the outcomes via VSS program to reward the investments as program parameters permit.
  • Administer the VSS Program Vehicle Supplemental Support (supplemental vehicles) within the projects for which the FFM is responsible, including soliciting, assembling, and submitting VSS packages to the Sr. Manager DD&F to route for approval.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and resource for:
  • Toyota Facility Guides
  • Image USA II Standards & Specifications
  • Toyota Dealership Site Plans & Floor Plans
  • Work closely with Department Management to address Toyota & Friedkin initiatives as needed e.g.:
  • Identify Dealer Business Continuity Plans re: back up power generation, data redundancy, etc.
  • DEEP & other sustainability
  • Stall audits and other tracking needs
  • Assist in tracking all GST facility projects & coordinate & communicate Dealership Development and/or Market Rep department updates to dealers.
  • Provide a secondary point of contact for:
  • Dealer Signage (Pattison Sign Group)
  • Facility Program (SGH Concepts / Novum for Portals, & ACM)
  • Products/Services/Service Department Layout Modeling (Snap-On for ADE)
  • LED Lighting Projects (CED Lighting)
  • Other vendor relationships as needed
  • Assist Sr Mgr and Director with Management led dealership construction projects as needed including occasional dealer visits & dealer project counseling as required.
  • Partner with GST Field such that Facility outcomes support GST Field Dealer strategies.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university Pref
  • 5-7 Years' Experience in field with retail automotive experience Preferred
  • Dealership and/or OEM facility branding experience Preferred
  • Extensive Automotive Retail business insight required.
  • Strong ability to professionally communicate & positively influence outcomes both verbally and in writing to Field, Dealers, TMNA, and all GST departments and all organizational levels of the same.
  • Excellent administrative & applicable technology skills required to manage the reporting, tracking, and package building requirements of the position.
  • Must be willing to work with sales & departmental deadlines and deliver accurate work on a consistent basis.
  • Strong organizational skills & self-management skills are a must.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
  • Construction Management Construction management uses specialized management techniques to oversee the planning, design, and construction of a project. Developing-Intermediate Required
  • Contract Management Contract management negotiates the terms and conditions of contracts systematically and efficiently by managing contract creation, execution, and analysis for the purpose of maximizing financial and operational performance and minimizing risk. Intermediate-Advanced Required

  • Safety Standards Developing-Intermediate Required

  • Vendor Relationship Management Developing-Intermediate Required
  • Analytical Skills Analytical Skills refers to the ability to gather, organize, research, and review information in order to draw conclusions and solve complex problems. Developing-Intermediate Required

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe job requires significant domestic travel. As a result, the duties for this position occur in various places including, but not limited to an office environment, car dealerships, and semi-industrial settings. The associate will regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level for this position will vary and the associate may be exposed to loud noise levels.

Travel Requirements
70% The job requires significant domestic travel (up to 70% of the time) and / or remotely from a home-based office. The associate is frequently required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business purposes. A large amount of this travel involves driving a company vehicle.
