Intern, Technical Undergraduate Year Round - Electrical Design, Remote

We are looking for individuals that are excited about PCB design and seeking real world experience to jump start their careers while working with our Electrical CAD design group.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

• Responsible for engaging with other engineering disciplines to define the scope of the project for execution
• Build a foundation on PCB design projects such as:
  • How to achieve good component placement/routing
  • How to build a proper stackup to minimize electrical interference
  • Documentation for manufacture and assembly
• Use said knowledge to implement changes in the electrical design software to improve efficiencies and keep day to day operations going.

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

• Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

Note: If you have not earned a HS diploma or equivalent, please apply to a high school intern position.

• Ability to work on site at the Livermore CA location
• Knows the basics of PCB and/or Electrical design
• Familiar with PCB design software such as Eagle, Altium, Mentor Xpedition or other PCB design software
• Ability to obtain a Q-level clearance
