The Role in Brief:

Launch Consultant, Associate Director

The Launch Consultant (Associate Director) leads the successful implementation and adoption of EAB's Navigate360 and related student success technologies. This role combines strategic consulting, project management, and partner enablement expertise to ensure institutions realize measurable outcomes aligned with their student success goals.

The Associate Director serves as a trusted advisor to partner institutions, guiding them through complex technology and change management initiatives. Internally, this role also contributes to the evolution of EAB's launch methodology - building enablement materials, piloting new processes, and fostering continuous improvement across the team.

This position is ideal for a strategic thinker and proactive leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complex projects, and excels at driving organizational change.

This position may be based in Washington, D.C. or Richmond, VA.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead partner launches from project initiation through go-live, ensuring successful implementation of EAB's Navigate360 platform.
  • Consult with institutional leaders to understand goals, design tailored implementation plans, and align technology adoption with strategic objectives.
  • Drive project management excellence by creating and maintaining detailed launch plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and proactively identifying risks or dependencies.
  • Facilitate change management by helping campus partners build buy-in, develop readiness, and sustain adoption across advising and student success teams.
  • Develop enablement materials (e.g., playbooks, templates, training resources) to support new product features and scalable launch practices.
  • Pilot new processes and tools to improve launch efficiency and partner experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Partner Success, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between partner needs and product enhancements.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants, modeling best practices in communication, consulting, and project delivery.
  • Lead confidently in ambiguity, bringing clarity and focus to evolving partner or organizational priorities.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in consulting, client success, project management, or higher education.
  • Must possess at least two of the following:


    • Consulting or advisory experience
    • Client management experience
    • Project management or implementation experience
    • Experience working in or with the higher education industry
    • Experience facilitating training sessions or presenting to diverse audiences


  • Demonstrated ability in analytical reasoning and quantitative analysis.
  • Proven experience facilitating and managing organizational change.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically (varies by product).
  • Valid driver's license


Ideal Qualifications:



  • Experience with student information systems or student data; Navigate360 experience preferred.
  • Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities to deliver successful outcomes
  • Experience building relationships internally and externally, and ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple clients
  • Analytical thinking skills and ability to manage processes, projects, and operations
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between partners and internal product teams.
  • Deep understanding of academic advising, degree planning, and student lifecycle management.
  • Track record of driving results and influencing executive stakeholders in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, workshops, and trainings effectively.
  • Comfort operating in evolving or ambiguous settings, providing clarity and structure to complex challenges
  • Commitment to embracing a continual learning environment and contributing to a dynamic and welcoming culture of fairness, authenticity, and belonging in support of EAB's mission, values, and aspiration

Compensation:

The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $66,500 - $90,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.

This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
