Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Drafter/Process Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. The Drafter/Process Tech will use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create blueprints, schematics, and layouts for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects. Help improve the manufacturing process through design changes, process changes, equipment upgrades, equipment layout, and process coaching of production team members. Must have strong communication skills. Some travel occasionally required. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
- Interpret sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers and architects.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Maintain drawing files and update documentation as needed. Create part numbers and BOL's for all designs.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Assist with material estimates, construction documents, and sales presentations.
- Ensure designs are understood by manufacturing teams members. Assist with any questions, manufacturing troubleshooting and shop floor training to ensure efficiency and a quality product.
- Create bills of materials and part numbers in the ERP system.
- Perform site visits or field measurements if required.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certification in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Understanding of drafting standards, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems (QB, NetSuite, etc.)
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with industry standards and construction or manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule if needed
- Ability to travel 10% of the time, including overnight travel
