Your role

As a Balance/Spin Technician, you play a vital role in our production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. Your expertise and dedication are essential in manufacturing products according to detailed specifications and schedules. You will operate low speed ang high speed balancing machines to carry out the balances of our rotating components including shafts and impellers. By joining our team, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence and help us deliver outstanding results to our customers. You will report to the Core Manufacturing Supervisor. The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am.


As a key member of our team you will:



  • Operate both low-speed and high-speed balancing machines to ensure parts meet performance standards.
  • Use electrical and mechanical equipment to measure runout and accurately interpret the results.
  • Prepare and maintain balance reports for quality tracking and compliance.
  • Set up machines independently and assist coworkers with their setups when needed.
  • Machine parts according to technical drawings and route sheets.
  • Inspect finished parts to verify they meet all required dimensions and specifications.
  • Use a variety of measuring tools, including both standard and specialized instruments.
  • Perform basic and advanced shop math to support machining and inspection tasks.

  • You have at least 3 years of experience operating precision balance equipment.
  • You have a good mechanical aptitude.
  • You can read and understand machining drawings.
  • You are organized with good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Competitive Pay: Earn a solid wage that reflects your experience and skills, with opportunities to grow. Base salary ranges from $31.11 to $46.78 hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. As an employee working 2nd shift you will also be entitled to a 10% shift differential.
