*Description*
We are need of a Lead Electrical Engineer who will take ownership of Own product-grade PCB/electronics for embedded vision platforms (often around high-performance compute modules). This person will ensure designs, parts, and builds flow smoothly from schematic to layout to assembly and bring-up. Lead PCB design reviews and quality; maintain libraries, data management, and common parts strategy. Coordinate sourcing, vendor communication, inventory handoffs, and build schedules. Guide interns/juniors to stay unblocked and aligned (same parts, same patterns). Hands-on bring-up and debugging as needed; collaborate on harnessing and mechanical fit. Keep cross-team communication tight and surface risks early. *Skills* pcb design, embedded system *Top Skills Details* pcb design,embedded system *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Strong PCB design and layout skills using professional EDA tools (Altium preferred, but must have professional EDA experience) * Solid understanding of high-speed digital design fundamentals * Experience with embedded systems and SBC (single-board computer) integration * Power supply design and power distribution expertise * Project leadership or team mentorship experience * Proficiency in schematic capture and component selection * Understanding of design for manufacturing and test principles * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration * Hands-on debugging and validation experience using lab equipment Strongly Preferred Experience (need depth in at least 2-3 areas): * Hardware startup or fast-paced R&D environment experience * Nvidia Jetson or similar high-performance embedded platforms * PoE system design (particularly PSE side) * Agricultural equipment, robotics, or harsh environment electronics * Altium Designer experience * Custom cable/harness specification and environmental sealing * Full product development cycle experience from research to production * Experience implementing or improving engineering workflows and best practices *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
