  • Location: Covington, GA (On-Site)

  • Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift

  • Pay: $21.00 per hour

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to support safety and quality assurance during production on the assigned shift. This role performs quality checks, maintains documentation, and ensures timely batch releases aligned with customer expectations. The technician works closely with production and reports to the Facility Technical Manager/Quality Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished goods
  • Submit daily batch release reports and notify relevant personnel of rejected batches
  • Enter and maintain accurate QA test results
  • Adhere to all EHS and internal safety protocols, including PPE use
  • Support general housekeeping of lab and production areas
  • Collaborate with production to meet service-level timing requirements
  • Communicate equipment issues and schedule changes to management
  • Participate in cross-training (e.g., reactor operation, forklift certification)

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Up to 12 months of experience as a Quality Lab Technician
  • 1+ years in a controlled lab environment
  • 3+ years using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in water-based manufacturing or packaging
  • Forklift certification
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is 21.00.
