This is a full-time .8 position (64 hours/week) working 8 hour shifts. Join our site-based float pool as a Speech Language Pathologist in the Rehabilitation department supporting both Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego and Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. You will bring your professional skillset to creatively solve problems every day. The ideal candidate is confident in the acute care environment and ready to jump in to support our teams in their mission to provide world-class patient care. $4K New Hire Incentive and $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles. *The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met
Qualifications
Required Certification/Registration: * Current California SLP license Or pending CA SLP license. Must have license in hand by start * BLS for Health Care Provider * Certificate or pending Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) by ASHA. Preferred: * At least one year of acute care experience as a Speech Pathologist Job
