Job Summary:

The Manager, Cloud and Infrastructure, is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of the business's hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This role requires a professional with strong team leadership skills who can expertly manage multiple complex projects and objectives simultaneously, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems. This position will oversee environments in Azure, AWS, and OCI, manage on-premise Meraki/Cisco infrastructure, and service management to support core organizational functions. A typical day involves leading and mentoring the infrastructure team, collaborating with various teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, resolving escalated technical issues, and strategically planning for future infrastructure growth and security enhancements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Define and drive the enterprise infrastructure and cloud strategy across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including hybrid and multi-cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) aligned to business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for infrastructure and cloud operations, maintaining transparent communication with executives, business stakeholders, and IT teams.
  • Build and lead a high-performing infrastructure team; mentor engineers, foster professional development, and cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership during critical incidents, ensuring timely root cause analysis, rapid resolution, and post-incident improvements
  • Establish and enforce ITIL-aligned service management practices (incident, change, problem, and release management) to improve service delivery, reduce risk, and maintain compliance.
  • Direct multiple concurrent infrastructure and cloud projects from conception to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and risk management objectives are met.
  • Design, evaluate, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions; conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to meet current and future business demands.
  • Manage relationships with onshore, offshore, and third-party vendors; oversee contracts, service delivery performance, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage and support on-premise network infrastructure, including Cisco/Meraki switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi to ensure secure and reliable connectivity across the enterprise


Position Requirements (Work Experience, Skills, Licenses, etc.):

Proven experience in a management role overseeing hybrid cloud (Azure, AWS, Oracle OCI, GCP) and on-premise (Cisco/Meraki) environments.

Demonstrated team leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing technical staff.

Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and objectives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong, hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST), and best practices.

Experience leading and coordinating incident response efforts for security and operational events.

Proficiency with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information, team goals, and project status to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Knowledge of Databricks or similar data analytics platforms is a plus.

Education and Experience:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a management or lead role.

Desired: Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CompTIA Security+.

Travel Requirements:



  • Travel required 10-15% of the time to other office locations.


Hours:

This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary for business needs.

Physical Demands:

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Prolonged sitting.

Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch.

Competitive Wages:
$133,000 to $171,500 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
